There now seems to be a lot of opens where after running dogs and bitches seperate for a weight class win the run offs are lightweight dogs and bitches together and heavyweight dogs and bitches together. The all in opens already cater for dogs and bitches running together so it would be nice to see these opens run to a seperate dog and bitch winner and the winner of these running for overall supreme. On other pages we have debated the handicap system to give the bigger dogs a chance in the run off (and rightly so) but what is the point of doing that when you are going to have to run against bitches in the run off without even knowing if you are top dog even though the event started dogs and bitches seperate. During previous debates the heavy weight owners have felt that whats the point I now feel the same about this format.
