Hi all,

Molly and Lennys new coats from Jans gifts arrived today but I just wanted to ask if people thought that Lennys might be a tad too small - he's rather difficult to measure because he's so giddy, god knows how I got him to stay still for this pic :teehee:

Anyway, what do you all think? Looking at these pics on screen makes me think that its too small.

Also he is only 12 months so he'll probably still have some growing to do (sound like a right parent don't I  )

I think it gives him a bit of a hunch back!!

may be a bit smale the curve is usualy further down and he needs a bit of room to move but its a lovly coat though

I like mine to come down over the tail so I went for the 23". The 21" would have been Ok I think but I think they are better a bit longer.

Hi there,

Its difficult getting the size right without trying them on some makes seem to come up longer than others we've found, i think it is a bit small, but i like them to come right down, a little on the long side, to keep out the draft!!

And a pic of Molly in hers so she doesn't feel left out :huggles:

I think hers is a bit big though

forgot to say its a beautiful colour on him we too have a couple of coats from there, red and a black one

I'm glad you are all agreeing, I thought I was going mad and I think I've pissed off my OH going on about it

I want his to look more likes Mollys, they are both size 19 so I reckon I'll swap it for the 21 inch one. Just got to hope she can send it out by sat when we go on holiday

They're really good quality aren't they and not expensive either :D I decided to get one from there when I saw Gilliwigs' Muffin in his

It looks a little on the tight side to me. Here's how the same make coat looks on Muffin. I've sometimes thought this might be a bit too small, and it tends to ride up if he's happy and his tail is stuck up in the air! :D -I find it so hard to get the measurement right though. Love Molly's red coat - it really suits her. Josh had a green one like Lenny.

(w00t) Hey, just read your post and realised you'd bought the coats because you saw Muffin in his. I'll have to tell him what a good model he is. :p I've just got him a new collar from there as well if you've not seen my post further down. Would have gone for something a bit more striking but my husband wasn't too keen so I've compromised! :- "

I went for a striking collar once but John (quite rightly for a bloke I suppose) refused to take her out in it  Its one of the best collars I've had though because it tightens to stop her backing out of it. Its made by Mantamuffin on here (yes she has a whippet called Muffin too :) ) she does do some tamer designs, and some even wilder ones

Got loads of comments when I took her out too o:)

That's lovely. Don't think Muffin would be too impressed if I took him out in that though. :- " He would need a more 'manly' one!

Men are so unimaginative aren't they :teehee: I would go for a bit bigger one for lenny(keep his bottom nice and warm) but Molly's looks great

All of my gang are kitted out from Jan's Gifts and the coats are excellent. Logan's puppy 15" one was blue, but he's now in the 21" which is red and he looks fab in it!  Albie has the green and Oliver has the blue, all 21". The greyhounds' coats are huge in comparison!! (w00t)

I'd go for the 21" where boys are concerned.
