Just been out for an hour and the weather started to turn nasty, so I made tracks home.(11 year old son to think of , is that a good excuse ?)

Oscar has started to watch the beam and quarry.He is coming along just fine with plenty of good catches and good "Game to hand".

Out again tuesday depending on the light and a decent outing on sunday is planned with over 50 nets being laid at a time.The Blues Brothers will be used for that outing, maybe some more pics to follow ?

nice looking dog there mike, hes coming on nicely.Should be better at the end of the week for your lamping mate the moons on it's way down and there is some good windy weather coming. Keep us informed on his progress.

I've been ferreting today, i like using the longnets when there are large numbers of holes they make things much quicker and easier.

The weather was sleet, the location is on top of a hill feature and so far there has always been some wind.

The field shown with winter crop is about 400m square,undulating and was mega hard going to walk on, a bit of a nightmare to be honest.

The lurcher done well on that very soft soil.Fair play to him.

Should be better once this moon state is on the hunters side.Still had some decent cloud cover tonight. But should improve towards the end of the week.
