Last night was still abit on the light side at times, would shine the lamp and the rabbits were already moving into cover.
Oscar had some long runs, on undulating ground, acouple along the wood line, with the rabbit turning back and forth.
Ended the night with spotting a squatter, moving towards it, with a chase up a slope, on winter corn, the rabbit ran in a straight line with , the lurcher making the strike at full speed. He seeems to be getting the hang of the lamp beam now which will improve I,m sure with a few more trips out.
Next trip will be with the whippies this sunday.
