ABIG WELL DONE TO TAM AND FAMILY AND NOT FORGETTING PAUL

 :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :) :) :) :D :D :D :D

:)) Well done, I bet that has given you and Paul a boost. Not forgetting Tam and family

ITS ONLY A CLUB DOG AYR GARY :p

WELLDONE SON :D  :D

Great result for oscar again, with all the moves this dog has had over the last year, he has not let any of his many trainers down. If anyone is looking for a stud dog out of the crazy cracker line, then Oscars Pride must be worth a look ( that's if he will mate) short spot, Oscars pride perfect size, great stamina, great sprint.

not many dogs can compete with the bitches and come out on top well done Oscar.

this dogs only been at shelly's over the pass year and trained by them,

yes he would make another good line ( stud dog ) out of crazy cracker, along with the top stud dog already producing Ch of Ch's / Sup Rch's / Nch's / Rch's you know the one your dogs bred from him -- Rch cracked it,

it"s allways the stud dogs that gets a mention never the dams. :- " :- " :- "

too true  the bitch should get more recognition as I'm a firm believer that the dam throws the goods a Lott of the time , a good brood is worth her weight in gold any day  as well as Good stud dog i also think repeat matings work look at dessie and Micky mouse, just my opinion :D

thanx scotty for the reconition for oscar, in my eyes he has always been a top class animal, starting at the tender age of just 8 month taking the scottish dog pup overall at the derby, then supreme puppy b,w,r,a, spellbound, oscar has ran well for the mckay family and i am truely grateful for all there hard work with him, but he has been there about 7 month, i hardly think thats a year, they have done a great favour for me, looked after him as one of there own, THANKYOU TAM, SHELLY, YOUNG TAM AND TONI(not forgetting pig), i am rweally looking forward to oscars return after devon as i am able to come back to racing, and i do miss him very much.

paul

Of course I have a dog out of Cracked it, and a great racer and pet he has been over the last four years, and I wont forget it was you who let me have him when all other breeders at that time closed the door to me as I was an outsider. At that time pups were thin on the ground and hard to get. I hope I have repaid your trust by giving Tigger a good home for life. I must admit the last two years have been disapointing as far as his racing is concearned, running well below the times he set in his first two years racing. I made a bad mistake by trying to race him on the bends, this has resulted in several torn mussell's and loss of speed. I had him checked out this week and have been told he is fit to race this weekend, but the dropped mussell's and scar tissue will have cost him at least five yards, thats what the vet says, still we shall see. by the way this will be tiggers first open of the year, and his third run in total including trainning, so you can guess how heavy he is. Getting back to Oscar as a stud, I am not saying use him before Cracked it, I am only saying it brings his dams side into the gene pool, which can only help as almost 15% of the bitches running at present must have Xmas Cracker as a grandmother. God once you start talking dogs!!!!!!!!.

i always new tigger had a great home and that hes loved as a pet and a racer, i have never doubted that,

as for the bitch being the one (throwing the goods ) i think its down to both the bitch and the dog, yes you do get good brood bitch's that will throw to any stud dog like "What spot" at the moment but you also get stud dogs that will throw to any bitch "spellbound "and "cracked it" have already proofed that, maybe Spellbound more than cracked it, at the moment he only has 11 dogs counting for him and 7 are champions,

cracked it has 18 counting and 8 are champions,

it also don't follow that because a dog / bitch is bred well or out of the same breeding has a dog / bitch thats already producing the good, when it starts stud, it to will produce,

paul i'm sure you have missed oscar, and your right shelly and the gang have looked-after him very well for you, so keep up the good work

The dog was always moving about as Debbie swaps houses every other month...i reckon she gets sick of the same wallpaper and carpets (w00t) (just for Mark lol)

Seriously Scotty's right Oscar's breeding is very good coming from the famous Cracky Cracker and Tony's Gift ( Marillion + Cushti) her track record 4 litters 2 to Crazy Cracker 1st litter Short Spot then Oscar, 1 to Casino producing Jorja Fox, the other litter to Cracked It are still young haven't seen much of them only 2 the one we had and Davids both fighting at present but fast.

I know Paul is really looking forward to getting Oscar back not just for racing but as a companion Paul really idolizes Oscar. I tried to persuade Paul to let tam have Oscar full time and he replied with " hes like a best friend ", the McKay family have done a brilliant job so far with him this year and i know Paul will continue to keep the good work up . In 2004 Oscar was runner up at the Fed Champs to Another Spot for Sup just getting beat and then went on to win the Seniors open on the Monday, Paul used Oscar in the fields more over 2004 than racing as most of the time he was stuck for a lift because he moved in with his father for 6 months.

Lets just hope now that he will line a bitch only time will tell.

My opinion about breeding is most whippets are well breed these days and if it clicks it clicks ..its a lucky bag..but i reckon you have a better chance of a good whippet from 2 good parents and a good trainer/owner.
