I had a walk out with am mate who wanted to see Vixen run. She caught the first 5 from 5 runs missed a couple then caught a right cracker after a 200yd slip. The bitch caught 12 from 17 runs. Most were longish slips as they were up and off as soon as they saw the lamp.

I'm well pleased with the little bitch she's improving everytime i take her out.. All rabbits retrieved live to hand

Thanks ,I'm very proud of her, especally as i bred Vixen. She continues to improve with every outing. We are out again tonight for an hour to get her ready for the uk working whippet club lamping competition.

She's done really well at the working whippet shows now it's time to show she's not just a pritty face :cheers:

I'm more than happy with her, she's proving herself in the field now. She knows whats expected of her and is improving with every outing.

Looking forward to the lamping comp, just to see how she performs alongside other whippets. i've run her alongside my friends lurchers and she's held her own on the rabbits without any problems. just hope we get a nice wondy dark night for our heats..

Great catsh Paul.We went out last night,nothing to be had.Although we were somewhere where we could,nt have the lamp.Still enjoyed it ,nice to see my dogs hunt,doing what they enjoy most.Well done Vixen,she does you proud.
