well after a 5 week break it was great to get back racing.. :thumbsup:

we had a small meeting today, bit wet to start but soon dried up.

great to get a trial for dottie and smudge, who really enjoyed it and chased very well :thumbsup: as did poppy and kahn :thumbsup: really family affair :huggles:

yes barbra her 1st race we are so pleased with her

they all ran well after their lay off flo had not run since march :thumbsup:

wont be long and it will be violet and roxy (w00t) i think they would have liked ago yesterday :lol:

we are so pleased with how all the girls ran after 5 weeks away from the track :sweating: :sweating:

and even longer for flo (peppermint princess) who has not raced since march (w00t)

lolly ran great in her 2nd race (w00t)

and grace really enjoyed herself and had a 2nd place behind lolly in the 2nd round :thumbsup:

dottie + smudge looked so grown up :wub: :wub:

and maddie was great :thumbsup: her first race ever, won it and then went on to win the final, she topped off what was a lovely day :cheers: it was really nice to be back waiting at the finish with my mate mick sawyer

also thanks jenny for helping with the relay of getting the girls back to the van :wacko: :wacko:

Wow after the fun of getting an early shower and ripped trousers (Thanks for the cotten and needle but true to form i forgot their name sorry! ) we all had a really great time. Poppy nearly took my hand off again when it was time to come off the lure! . All the pups ran really well and I know none of us can wait till they are doing races. Thanks to Neil (not mine) for hand slipping Poppy so i could get her at the end.

 

Paddy loves his Sundays and is a lot different from the whippet 1 year ago who was calm at the track untill his go.......now he mad the moment he sees the track! (w00t) . He is even getting better at the traps which is saying something as he is still very reluctant. ( Thanks to the men who helped get paddy in the traps as well as i would have had no chance). :thumbsup:

the excitement in the van when we pulled was at boiling point.....that was just from me and dad (w00t) dogs were abit keen as well (w00t) (w00t)
