:blink: how long does it take u to pack 4 a weekend away camping @ the dogs?

it seems to take me 4eva it started on mon tidy house do washing and ironing by tues more washing unable to get dry so still lying there to be ironed, wed packed case and tolietries, thurs oh god thurs lol did food shopping, made sarnies 4 when we get there, cooked pasta 4 dogs 4 when we get there, packed electrical gear ie hairdryer, straightners etc, done more scottish derby vids, hunted chairs out, got tinned stuff ready in bag, got wot dog stuff ready i can ie coats linament, water spray bottle food etc cant pack bowls as they have breakfast. had to tidy house again ie hoover etc. everything is finally ready now at least i hope it is thing is peter is at work till 11pm so wont be able to pack the van so do we do it tonight at 11.15pm in the dark? or wait till tommoz about 6.30am as we want to get away by 7am? god i just hate packing infact i hate camping it wud be far easier if i just booked into a luxury hotel lol :lol: failing that pay somebody to pack 4 me lol any offers? glad its the last camping trip till next year lol :lol: :lol: :lol:

It takes us for ever too, in fact i palmed the kids off to their Aunty's today so that i could get it all done, still loads to do though.

I've got all our clothes & kids clothes, pots pans cutlerys all ready, just need to put our food in the freezer box's tomorrow & pack the dogs stuff - i just know i'll forget something though.

Oh we've not packed stuff like chairs & what not yet either :angry:

glad its not just me then vicky lol decca we hoping to leave at 7am we go thru tunnel then onto a1 we cud meet u somewhere if u like just let me know caz x

the packing is the easy bit its the unpacking and all the washing that i hate when we get back . I am sure we didnt wear that many clothes or use that mutch bedding. I think most of it is laceys though cos she had more blankest and coats and jammys there than we did :lol:

that was gonna be my next topic how long does it take u to get back to normal when u get home? it will take me 4 eva thank god thats it till next year lol when maybe my dog might eventullay get his title after been runner up at this champs 4 the 2nd time lol

yeps got to agree there I dont mind the packing but argghhh the unpacking and washing and ironing and cleaning the caravan , dont give you time to get on the pc does it lol

Well it's Wednesday & i've just managed to put all the pots & pans in the sink & clothes in the washer Bags & everything are still in the kitchen, i've got no motivation what so ever :lol:

Well we all got back about 6ish on Sunday, managed to bath kids and move bags and stuff around kitchen - did do washing though, doing last lot of washing as I type this, all camping stuff still on landing upstairs, probably stay there now until our next camping trip! :lol: Now kids are back at school I might attempt to tidy up!

i am sat staring at the ironing thats doing a good inpression of a mountin on my kitchen tabel and woundreing if a tralour tent or caravan is less work than a frame tent to pack and unpack

lol same here I can see the ironing but I would rather be on the pc maybe tomorrow I will attempt to doing the ironing lol I said maybe mind

Well all mine's still where it was this morning coz i went back to bed lol :lol: It'll never get done at this rate

trailer tent same as a frame tent same mess lol only harder to put up eh jojess? at least wiv a caravan u can leave things in it ie everything lol :lol: so so pleased that u lot r the same as me. only as well as washing and ironing i have to do n east report and scratch report 4 whippet news (more or less done now) and also videos of the weekend so really i have an excuse 4 not doing ironing i havent had time lol :lol:

think im swaying towards a caravn but will i fit 5 greyhounds 1 lurcher lacey and 1 or 2 puppys in it when sons wont dog sit for me. oh and hubby and i had better bring my dauter too :lol:
