Has anyone seen any? I've been scouring both papers and I'm sure they've not been in, but just in case I missed them?

No i haven't seen Paignton either or the critique for Southern Counties, has anyone else seen it

Nope I am waiting for Southern Counties (w00t) , South Wales (dogs) (w00t) and Bournemouth

It seems despite Louis winning 2 classes this year and about 5 2nds last year we have only seen about 2 critiques :( not good enough IMO

I agree Jo. I haven't actually been to that many Ch shows this year but it would still be nice to read the critiques.

It would seem that most all-rounders do their critiques quite quickly (someone told me the other day that they get paid for doing them  I thought it was part of their judging contract!) but breed specialists, for some reason, seem to think it doesn't apply to them!

Very poor.

talking of which, has anyone seen Midland whippet open critique fro a couple of months ago? Its the only time Monty has been 1st or 2nd, so I would quite to have read it :- "

Very bad form overall from a lot of these judges.

I am truly quite surprised Paignton hasnt' been in yet, because I have her critiques from when she did Blackpool, so I honestly was expecting that one to come out quite quickly.

I've been watching for SC and for a few others where friends have done well, and there are a LOT missing this year

Those we are waiting for , Paignton, Southern Counties and South wales Bitches , the judges are not breed specialists . as for Bournmouth its still early ,

I think if you write to the Kennel club `show and awards dept` they get in touch with `lax` judges ;) They do have to do Critiques , it is a KC rule and yes some of the `top peps ` do get paid , but not you average judge I'm afraid , just the `select ` few  and when you think about it , its mainly `our critiques `that fill the paper and what alot of people buy it for ,

Im waiting for Southern Counties as Frankie won two classes and the RCC and Ruby was Best Puppy - giving up hope of it ever appearing now :(

Yeah I wasn't moaning about Bournemouth as obviously this wasn't that long ago, but the others is very poor

Its really disappointing, as you really look forward to reading the critiques, obviously more so when your dogs have been placed but even so its interesting even if you were not entered to see what judges views were. :)

Sometimes however its not always the judges as i know the last time i judged i submitted critiques to both papers & one was printed over amonth later & the other not at all. :(

When i contacted them they said they had never received it yet they were both emailed on the same day & i had no email "notification failure" back so not sure what happened there  , however when i re-sent it, they did finally print it

I do sometimes think that they rush to get that weeks Ch Show in & forget the rest!!!

Im sure it will be in as I was talking to the judge at Birmingham and someone asked about his Critique for another breed and he said they had all gone off to papers.

He does do a fair bit of judging and Ive seen them in th paper before , so fingers crossed Jok

It must be so disappointing when you've won a class, especially at a champ show and then the critique never appears - sounds like it happens all too often :(

Fingers crossed we get to see them all soon

what about when you have won a first in a class for the first time EVER!!

I'd love to read it, I know with my own eyes what I've got, but was so looking forward to seeing my Mr Moe's name and a critique :(

Id say he was more of a `staffie` man myself ;)

Southern Counties critique in Dog World today!

Brilliant Jo! Hope it was worth waiting for :- "

Going to buy it at lunch
