I see that a Silkdance dog did well. I go to the park most days after work and see a Silkdance lad called Harvey. He is a grogeous fawn babe about 18 months old, wonder if it's the same litter?

Well done everyone! We were particularly pleased with Teya's win as our day started out with a FLAT TIRE on the motorway at 70mph!! After a 2 hour delay, we finally arrived a class and a half before Teya's class, and she still managed to get a 2nd (after her harrowing 'roller coaster ride' being towed in the car for 10 miles LOL).

Actually the dogs were troopers being towed. Very interested in what was going on, slightly worried, DOVE out of the back once we arrived at the garage, but jumped straight back in and slept SOUNDLY for the rest of the trip there once the car was fixed.

Thanks to everyone who kept us informed during the drive of where the judging was, and PHEW we made it on time for all our classes (there are SOME advantages to being in the bitch classes LOL).

Was MUCH cooler than last year. Warm enough, but with enough cloud cover and a nice breeze that the whippets (the ones I saw) showed well. Toward the end the sun came out and it did warm up a fair bit - enough to need the 'space coats' for keeping cool for a little while.
