Well I've finished my exams, Buffy's finished her season so hopefully I can come out to play now! She doesn't appear to have any milk but I was advised to take it easy with her, can I take her to Gin pit on wednesday or should I just stick to walking her? I've really missed going and I'm keen to let the pups run (so long as I'm not a disruption!) I've really got to get my hands on a electric lure so I can train them better and I've found a great piece a flat land to run them on.

I'm upset at the mo because some sick person is killing and abusing dogs near to my home. It was posted on my towns website and I've had mod's check the poster out in case it is a hoaxer. ( the poster reports his aunt has had her dog killed and police are involoved) It 'appears' to be a genuine post and I'm panicking like crazy because the incident was streets away from me. I don't want to walk the dogs round here in case I'm spotted and I think I may bundle them into car and take them elsewhere. :(

Even if you don't have a hand lure, whilst they're only puppies you could just tie a rag on a bit of string & get someone to run dragging the string whilst you slip the pups, it'll just get them keener. Also i'd take them out one at a time, obviously having 4, they distract each other where as if you take them one at a time you can spend time with them individually to build up their confidence with the rag.

If you do come to Gin Pit next week we'll try & run them before everyone gets there, so that the spectators & the other dogs aren't putting them off.

Very sad about the dogs :( Unfortunately there are some sick ba****ds around!

Thanks Vicky, I have been training them separate with a rag which they love! I'm keen to just get them used to Gin pit and other dogs etc. I have given Harvey to ste's aunt. She doesn't work and is looking after her mother. She was originally going to have Jeebs but couldn't have him at 8 weeks cos her old dog was in a bad way so we was keeping him on for her and then stepson fell for him big time! Anyhow Harvey is doing great, he's spoilt rotten, gets walked tons and is deeply loved by his aunt and her mum. So he has got a happy ending, I felt it was better for him to live there as I know how he is doing and after what he'd been through, he deserves a special home.

So we have a puppy each mine's Riley, Ste's is Nell and Martin's is Jeebs. They are extremely well behaved and friends and family are amazed how good they are. Mummy Buff keeps everyone in check and it works really well so were all happy!

Shame about the psycho on the loose though...
