Was wondering if anyone here has been to paws in the park before - and if so, what was it like? I went to dogfest in Windsor last year and really enjoyed it - got to meet the wonderful (in my opinion) supervet.

FUnnily enough I was just looking up dates for dog shows this year. We did go to Paws in the Park last year. We went to the one at Stansted Park, Hants. Evie was only just old enough to walk on the ground so really good socialising opportunity for her. We went with friends and their two mongrels. We all had a great time. Lots going on and places to eat and drink -- fortunately sun shone so it was a lovely day. Lots of stalls to buy stuff. Will be going again this year and hoping that Evie will be able to participate in some of the fun activities.

Forgot to ask Spanielmad. What was the Windsor dog fest about?

It's something supervet does every year. There's one up north and one down south. Last year, his south event was held at Windsor, which is just down the road from me. He does a bit where he gets on stage and talks about his charities etc - think he was a bit annoyed with the Windsor venue, as the airplane noise is hard to talk over if your not used to living around here - might be why he moved the South e event? Think it's probably like Paws in the park - loads of doggie stalls, agility etc - too many opportunities to spend money you don't have! Hoping to camp at Paws, Friday til Monday - that's not the big expense, trying to resit !spending on all the doggie stall is

I'm going to the spring show at Ardingly 12th to 14th May

Ah. We're definitely go to the Hants one, 1/2 July but not sure about the Ardingley one yet. Hoping we might go on the Sunday.
