Last night I had the sad news that the lovely Pearl Crocker died on Weds .

Pearl not only was the Sec of East of England show society but also the `key holder` as it were to newark showground ,

A nicer lady ive yet to meet , and Im so sorry that I can t get to her funeral which is on Thursday ,

She will be more than sadly missed by all of us that attend Newark .

She had battled bravely with cancer , and I for one thought she had won , but it was not to be .

My thoughts are with her husband Ken and Jill and Jim

Sleep well Pearl , surrounded by your loving dogs . Newark will seem empty without you

Newark was the first place i attended my first show and into the world of dogshowing.

My thoughts are with Pearls family.

Exactly my point , I cant remember going to Newark showground and NOT seeing Pearl .

She will be one very missed lady
