I am new to whippet racing (my whippet, Walnut is 11 months old).  He is walked for around 5 miles a day and given short runs.  I live in South London and would love to know where the nearest track is, what to do to start racing him and also any training and feeding tips.  THANKS!!

My Dad swore by a weekly feed of bacon, black pud and a fried egg. Hopefully this'll be a start on the food side of things. I'm sure all the experts here will have something to say.
