"Sandbag the Dog" is going to be left in Basra when the troops pull out, a petition has been started to bring him to the UK . Please if you have a couple of minutes click on the link and sign it. Please pass on to everyone and let's hope that Gordon Brown will do something.

Thanks everyone!

I've signed

Poor dog has got used to having food and company - it would be cruel to abandon him to neglect, suffering and possible death

And what about Hesco the cat too??? He should be brought back as well.

Surely the cost of quarantine for two loyal pets like these is a very small price to pay compared to the vast investment in deploying troops in Iraq

Signed,

this poor dog must be allowed to come home with its Troops. How can anyone contemplate leaving it to die

We are supposed to be a nation of animal lovers, the cost of helping this poor dog is next to nothing when you think of the support and the moral he must have given our Troops!
