Well Phoebe was never going to welcome Skye with open arms having been my only dog for 3 years and as predicted she was a bit freaked in the beginning and wouldn't even stay in the same room as her for the first couple of days (w00t) .

She is coming round though now and even allowed Skye on her bed for about 5 seconds today before slinking away :b .

They have been playing games with us in the garden and that seems to have started a little bond beginning to develop. Hopefully they will be friends before too much longer :)

Here's some pics of them both :huggles:

lovely to see your girls bonding   :huggles:

love your garden too

Ah, she's beautiful Rosie, so is Phoebe.

Our girls are a bit hot and cold with the new arrival too, it must be a bit strange for them for a new puppy to turn up. Isn't it amazing how all the brindle little gems look so much alike!

Hopefully soon everything will fall into a routine for us new pup owners and we can breathe a sigh of relief. :sweating:

Delightful photos. It's lovely to see the pair starting to bond.

I remember how long it took Jinny to accept Ella - and Jin was only 6 months old then  It's been easier with Irie and Sox but Jinny knows she is still the "special one"

Phoebe is beautiful - so elegant, and I'm sure it won't be long before she and Skye are firm friends

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments on Phoebe :huggles: . She is the most precious thing to me, I could look at her all day and often do :b :- " :D

I think they will make a great pair. Phoebe is a bit timid and sensitive and it will do her good to have a bond with a more confident dog. Skye is fantastic, is scared of nothing and dying to be best friends so we will get there :huggles:
