Hi

I dont know any of the background to this?

How old is your little girl?

What sort of a background has she come from?

Is she a rescue?

Has she been ill treated by a male previously?

I really havent any info here so will go with general advice i would give to anyone.

Pups will usually urinate either from excitement or fear. Either one do NOT chastise or make a big deal out of, no matter where you are just quietley pick pup up & carry out into garden, do not talk to but just put outside & say BE CLEAN.

The more fuss you make the worse it is.

If it is excitement, try & discourage your OH from talking or making a fuss of the little one when he comes home etc instead get him to come in, pick her straight up & put her out in garden, once she has been then lots of praise etc

Good luck :luck:

Do not tell her off when she does it. Clean it up with minimum fuss and ensure there is no scent left behind to attract her to pee there again. (Use Bio wash powder/white vinegar to clean.)

If it's fear, she needs to see him as provider of all things good, plus lots of time to come round to him. Let him do the feeding, walking etc with her as much as possible.

How does she act around him? Is she comfortable with him in the same room, walking past, interacting, handling her? Is it a general man thing, or just related to your partner?

The more info you can give here the more folks will be able to offer advice.

 SORRY SUE IVE ONLY JUST SEEN THIS :b

somtimes it can be a dominance thing too , if she sees you as leader and her as 2nd in command she might do it to mark her territory .

i think as said above , your hubby should take over the feeding of her and to generally ignore her for a while , once she realises she isnt getting attention from him she will want to interact with him more , reverse physcology lol

i would try and keep her out of the bedroom too for a while , put her back down the line in the pecking order

again if you catch her doing it just call her to you or bribe her with a toy etc to distract her from doing it , do not shout or make a fuss , and stand with her outside while she is out there so when she does wee outside your there to praise her instantly

very best of luck :sweating: :luck:

thanks every one

she will go to Gary o/h for loves and kisses he is so bessoted with her he has got rather up set, that and she sits on my knee ALLthe time so there is some jellosy ( on o/h side) But fingers crossed she has not done it since thursday

He is trying not to make sudden movments so as not to scare her but she has had a hard life so far Ikeep finding different scares and balled patches on her

but we will love her for ever.

keep sending advice thanks
