I have been asked to submit this post as some people have been led to believe that the Phoenix open due to take place on July 5th has been cancelled.

This rumour is not true and the Phoenix open on July 5th will go ahead as advertised in the Whippet News. This is the 10th anniversary of Phoenix Pedigree Whippet Racing Club so there is a different format to mark this anniversary with bitches and dogs running separately and both having the opportunity of gaining maximum Whippet News Top Ten points.
