Hello out there!

I am aware that there are a few photographers on here.

I was just wondering as i want to become a photographer.

What things i should learn first.

I currently have a FinePix S5700 with loads of different settings and i dont know how to use most of them.

If someone could help i really appreciate it as i want to go a bit extreme then just using the auto all the time.

thanks alot

Does your school do any exam courses? I think I've had a couple of young friends who have taken GCSE photography as part of an Art & Design course. Might be worth checking out. Hope you manage to find something suitable.

Jade am I right in thinking your from Manchester? If so your welcome to come down to the Gin Pit (astley) one wednesday evening and I'll give you a crash course if your interested?

Jac you are officially a legend!!!!!

Let us know how you get on Jade, I've been roped into one in July and I'm quite apprehensive about it. I'd be ok if they were running at high speed!

Well i am absolutely bricking it to be honest!

It would be ok but the bride doesnt want any photo's taken that she has to pose for, so I am going to be spending the whole day running around trying to get 'natural' photo's of her!

Nothing like a challenge for my first attempt hey! And whats worse is I am also a guest at the wedding  taking photo's is not usually what I am good at at weddings as I am sure you can guess ha

Good luck Jade scott at the wedding - I can imagine you are nervous - but I'm so jealous - I would love to have the equipment to be able to photograph more proffesionally

Thanks

If i manage to get any decent one's i will put them on so you know how i got on!

Well the wedding on saturday was absolutely lovely, weather was gorgeous and i thoroughly enjoyed myself if you know what i mean  Did manage to get the more serious photo's done before i had a bit too much though.

Here's just a little selection, as you can tell very relaxed wedding
