When I click on the enlarge photo button the photo opens in a new window. For less than 1 sec it is larger then it goes back to the same size that it was originally. Which defeats the object of enlarging it.

This also means that I can't any longer post readable peds to the list.

Is this happening to everyone or just me?

That's a feature of Internet Explorer V6. Doesn't IE add a little square box thingy that you can click on to stop IE reducing it? You could also look in IE options - it may be settable via a configuration option.

Alternatively you could use Firefox.

Actually Firefox scales it as well to fit your screen but just put the mouse cursor anywhere on the image and the mouse cursor changes to a +, left click and it will be shown full size. Left click again and it fits your screen again.

Thanks Nige  going off to investigate.

Um clicked on a photo and it opened in another window enlarged and then bounced back small. Clicked next time on the little box next to where it says enlarge image and this time when it bounced back small it was tiny. (w00t)

On with the investigations.

That's right - it's downloaded the full size picture into a new browser window but then your browser has said - oh this picture doesn't fit onto the screen i'll reduce it to fit. With IE when you move the mouse over the image a box comes up that you click on to stop IE from reducing it. With Firefox moving your mouse cursor over the image and left clicking restores the image.

Thanks for that Nige.

God that's very hit and miss. I had to aimlessly roam my mouse all over the photo repeatedly to get that box to come up. Didn't seem to be any definate place to move it to either. One time it was the lower right hand corner. Then that didn't work again. Then another time the mouse was halfway up the left hand side.

The pic when bounced down doesn't covers about 3/4's of the screen width so I can't think why my browser would think that that was too large. And when it bounced the photo down to very small it wasn't much bigger than a postage stamp. (w00t)

Firefox is better - just move the mouse pointer anywhere on the photo & it changes to a + then left click.
