Managed to get out of lure driving by not being noticed by laying in a ditch all day (felt surprisingly at home:) to get some photography in. Got a sun tan (beautiful sunny day) on on my bald patch as well :D . Sorry if I missed out your dog but was a bit rusty and kept missing shots(plus had a bit of the lurg, plus a bit of a hangover plus kept dozing off -_- ). Anyway, here they are:

Cracking pics Lloyd ;)

Could someone tell me if the blue dog in the wire muzzle is our Dase, there were so many blue dogs I'm not sure :b

Wow Lloyd! Some great pics of Sweep trialling after his muscle injuries. Its good to see his back legs so stretched out, as we now know he still has the extension.

We did see you lurking in the ditch, even with your combats on  Great picture of Tia too, I expect Dave and Lynne will be thrilled with that one

I will put the results on in a bit, just going in the shower!

Brillant pics Lloyd  Thats a great one of my Sidney (Mr Blue) :) Thank you

Due to a very good turnout, we ran in three groups again this week. It was also a very special day, as the litter bred by Dave and Lynne Thomas from their WCRCh Conway Celt (Penny), and by Judy and Nigel's Time Keeper (Keeper) celebrated their first birthdays. It was a real family celebration with balloons flying, and cakes for all (including the dogs :D ) Gill Harcombe did the honours with baking the cakes and coming fully prepared with plates, napkins, and everything we could need. Perhaps someone might add some pictures of the cakes Lynne? :- I have to say the human fruit cake was delicious, and the most moist fruitcake I have ever tasted. Please feel free Gill to bake again next time you visit (w00t) :teehee: Pat made the mammoth trip to visit us again, as did Viv. Always nice to see Vince and Julia too with their huge brood, and Barbara and Alan are becoming a regular feature! Then there we us old regulars, who all retired to the pub after racing - well it's a bit of a ritual nowadays :D

We also welcomed Becky from up t'north. She was running her youngest girlie Lola, and I'm pretty sure she completed her clearing trials yesterday too. She looks like being another speed demon like her mother WCRCh Light Fantastic - good luck with her Becky for the coming season :luck:

Fantastic photos! could you tell me what camera and lens and settings you had for these? I am fairly new into photography and just learning it all. I would love to be able to take pics like this.

Lovely day on sunday - sorry that we had to dash off - and missed the pub :(

Well done to all the winners, am still in shock about Chyppe winning a race (although the other 3 dogs having a "slight" coming together may have affected the results ever so slightly 8) ) but I guess credit is due for staying out of the way and running straight LoL

The sun was gorgeous and really made the day (which was topped for us by our first home speedway meeting of the year later in the afternoon!). Roll on next week :D

great picture of tia, many thanks lloyd. (1st and only one we have of her running) thanks to roy, gill, louise, june and lesley for running your dogs with tia. not far away now i dont think.

lynne has not got a clue how to put the pics on so i will do it.

Well done the winners.. especially Chip. He was a clever boy for you Darc & Rob :D

Thanks also to Gill for the fantastic cakes. Human and canine varieties. I preferred the human one, it was gorgeous. Tia, Zephyr, Morgan, Axl and Hazard had a great day. I'm not sure Hazard's cake hit his sides though. He kind of inhaled it.

Pics are great Lloyd. Lovely one of Kaos & Zephyr and also Keeper & Bandit together. I meant Trouble, not Bandit. I've regressed again. See, June (Winrow) was right, it was my brain they took out the other day. I wonder who got their ovaries taken out instead.

Lou... I think it is Daisy. You can just see the thin white stripe on her face.

(w00t) Lloyd, fantastic pictures as usual

the peppermints might be joining you on sunday (if only for the pictures (w00t) )

glad to hear Tia went well for you Dave :luck:

Cracking pics Lloyd ;)
Could someone tell me if the blue dog in the wire muzzle is our Dase, there were so many blue dogs I'm not sure :b
Not completely sure, but did think it was Yvonne's boy Morgan. She has just bought a wire muzzle too. But Judy might be right, she may be a bit forgetful, not even getting her own dogs names right, but she can spot others dogs quite well!!

The stripe is daisys but the backend underneath looks like boy bits which is why I was confused, lovely picture anyway.

Daisy is available for Tia and Morgan just let me know

You could have a point there Lou. Not sure if there are boys bits there or not. Morgan doesn't have a stripe though.... does he?

Lynne's pics ( as Dave is useless too  )

Fabulous pic of Logan Lloyd even the blood vessel on his back leg shows up. Had a great days racing with some very close and exciting finishes really nice to see the young dogs coming on as they are.

Stiggles really enjoyed all the cake that India fed to him, he'll be expecting that next week as well. Mouse will be available for trialling.
