Hi everyone, we're working on a picture pedigree for our Dido and we're still looking for pictures of the following whippets

Nevedith Veefa Vagabond

Nut Cracklin of Nevedith

Sakonnet Alfalfa

Un Amour De Swann Du Sac A Malices

Hope someone can help us with these. Thanks.

Dk.Swed.Ch. Nevedith Veefa Vagabond is the sire of two of our whippets that we imported from Rudi Brandt. Here is my favourite picture of Vagabond.

My much loved Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Local Lancer was a son of Nutcracklin of Nevedith. I had never seen her so it was a thrill when I attended the World Whippet Centennary in England in the summer of 1998 that the owner of Nutcracklin of Nevedith was kind enough to bring her to the show for me and others to see her. She was born on 22 January 1988 which meant she was 10 in the photo I am attaching showing my friend Rudi Brandt posing her on a table at the Doncaster Race Course where the Centennary show was held. You can see the undoubted quality in her, even at that age, and it gave me great appreciation of the attributes she had passed on to my Lancer, and he in turn passed on to the pups we bred out of him, including the dozen champions in six countries he produced for us during his lifetime.

For those unfamiliar with Nutcracklin, she was sired by Aust.Ch. Nevedith Apple Scrumpy (Int.Fin.Ch. Nevedith X-Ray x Nosegay of Nevedith) out of Chilka Dusky Dame (Eng.Ch. Oakbark Middleman x Pearl of Akonyte at Chilka). Dusky Dame was litter sister of Chilka Dairy Maid, the dam of the great Eng.Ch. Nutshell of Nevedith, and the presence of this line though many of the Nevedith dogs show and bred by Nevedith in the 1990s clearly demonstrates the value of those two Chilka dams.

Anyway, here is Nutcracklin at 10.

She is lovely, really enjoyed seeing and reading that piece of history. It was before my time ( in Whippets, not birth  )
