Pedigree are running the 'We Are For Dogs' campaign and for each view of this video, they donate £1 to the Dogs Trust

http://www.youtube.com/wearefordogs

If you're on Facebook, if you click on 'like' for We Are For Dogs, they will donate 50p as well

When it hits 25,000 views we'll get the next episode in Charlie's story :(

:( Watched it and just wanted to cry! How does the £1 per view thing work? I just keep imagining a dog as trusting as mine, and how he would feel if I left him like that :( :( :(

They are counting one view from each IP address every 24 hours - so you can click on it once a day and earn another £1

Will keep clicking then.... even if it does make me want to cry :(

:( Awww made me cry :b

What I want to know is....why do I NEVER find any abandoned dogs!!!!! I NEED a dog in my life *stampsfootinhuff* :(

Hello everyone,

FeeFee, thank you so much for posting this video!

I just wanted to pop in and say thank you all so much for your support for the campaign. A quick clarification, the proceeds of this campaign will go to PetPlan Charitable Trust, which provides grants supporting the health and welfare of dogs.

As well as sharing Charlie's story online, we’re also helping to raise awareness of the issue by putting ‘Ghost leads’ around the country. We’ve got photos of some that are in London here http://www.flickr.com/photos/wearefordogs, but you’ll also be able to find them in Birmingham, Bristol, Newcastle and Edinburgh. If you see one, it would be brilliant if you could send me a picture to janet@pedigree.com or upload it to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/wearefordogs.

Thanks again for the support,

Janet

I just wanted to pop back and say thanks so much for your support everyone - it's been great to see so many people getting behind the campaign!

Thanks to your efforts and those of other dog-lovers around the UK, we reached our target for 100,000 views of Charlie's story, raising £100,000 to help abandoned dogs around the UK. If you haven't seen the ending, the final episode of the film is here:

Many, many dogs are successfully rehomed every week in the UK. So we went to visit some former rescue dogs who've now found their forever homes. Their feel-good Dogumentaries are posted here: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p ... AB65316523

If you'd like to know more about the campaign, there's lots more information on the Adoption Drive website http://www.pedigreeadoptiondrive.co.uk/adopt/home/

Thank you!

Janet
