There are very few books on the market that can transport your mind back to your youth in dog racing, like this one can. Being born and bred in the north myself, i read through many of the chapters with a sense of pride.They brought back memories of why i still enjoy dog racing today. The story line is colourful and very funny in parts. The book reminds us of the friendships that are made for life in the dog game. Plus the shear enjoyment of beating those who talk about having the knowlege to train a good dog.
