Another TV programme that I'm enjoying. I have to say, since getting a dog, the dog-related stuff on TV is great! Never noticed it before. Paul O'Grady comes across really well in this programme too IMHO.

I love it too. Can tug at the heartstrings sometimes though!

I'm also a great lover of pogdogs, in fact most doggie programmes. They can be heartwrenching, but there's usually a positive story in them that helps us to realise that the majority of us are kind to animals.

I'm just watching a you've been framed type dog clip programme on channel 5 and it's brilliant. Just saw a Collie, who would deliberately drop his football over the fence then look at it longingly, so passers by would feel compelled to stop and throw it back over the fence to him - which, of course was what the clever little doggie wanted. Clips of this have gone viral on the internet, but I've not seen it before. It's great to watch - pretty much everyone who passed by would throw the ball back to him - even cyclists would stop, get off their bikes and throw the ball back. When the Collie's owner realised what he was doing, she started filming it, that's how it went viral - great viewing!

I must look out for the collie clip. Dogs are so clever when they want to be :)

I was a bit concerned to hear one of the staff dealing with the aggressive Chihuahua, on the repeated pogdogs programme last night, describe the dog as being dominant. Surely the staff there should know that this is outdated now? Perhaps he will realise now, that he has it wrong, because he took the "dominant" dog home to retrain him out of his aggression and failed!

The big softy I am nowdays I just can't watch any dog show, but when it first came out it did hit me that Paul lacks in a few areas, I do like the person thow.

You;re welcome. I watched an older episode of POGDOGS last night and it featured the rescue centre we got our dog from (albeit briefly)!.

Was that the one out in the country where they sent the aggressive Chihuahua? I think they send the "difficult" or sensitive dogs there for extra special attention.

Yep, that's the one. Maybe explians my dog, although he went there from Croatia.

Lucky you. Mine went from Romania to a "sanctuary" where they were in almost the same conditions as the Romanian ones. Not sure how it keeps its licence but that is a whole other story. This meant that they did no work with him to help him fit in to life over here.
