Poor Talli has cracked a bone near her hock and has a nastly looking lump.

She had the lump on her foot last weekend at Maltby but I thought it was just the remnant of the bites she had removed when we came back from Scotland. I wish I hadn't run her now, no wonder she pulled up mid race I thought it was just lack of strength due to having recently been down at 20lb the week before.

All I can think is that she did it at the club teams the week before as she pulled up in that race about 30yds from the boxes. At least now I know that a dog running light (i.e she weighed in at 20lb) isn't always the reason for it running poorly.

Poor bumpy dog :huggles: Get well soon xxx

Talli got the green light yesterday so it's full steam ahead now for the bend season :) .

I'm over the moon that she has healed so well just short of 6 weeks there's still a bit of a callous but nothing to worry about as it's all very solid.

If only the roses were so sweet for Moany Moany :(
