Here's Stanley after his walk yesterday. We decided to risk the odd shower or two yesterday, only to be deluged with continual heavy rain. :sweating:

He doesn't look too impressed does he? :p

He did set off happpily enough in the sunshine, but half way round the walk....hoods were up!

In the meantime Fred was home and dry on his new cushion...(not any old cushion, a flippin expensive one I was tempted to buy from PAH. I don't usually shop there...don't know what came over me).

Brilliant ... but poor Stanley, very unimpressed

We have a cushion like Fred's in the puppy crate ... they are worth the money, they're very cosy ... and surprisingly easy to wash when necessary.

Poor Stanley - his little face says it all!! :-

Fred looks very content on his new bed.

Poor Stan's face reminds me of one thing .......... Mr Grumpy!!!

Where did the summer go??

Poor old Stan - he does look very unimpressed! I suppose it's one thing choosing to have a paddle in any pond he comes across, but quite another to get completely drenched through! (w00t) But Fred looks very happy on his nice new cushion. That'll teach you to come shopping in Glossop!!! :-

He does seem to like it. It's only his 'occasional' cushion, as he does have a large snuggle bed upstairs as well. I bought it so he could sleep on the bean bag, which was too slippery for him, being leather. It seems to do the job. It's good to know it's washable as well. I do question their size guides though, as this was recommended for standard size dogs, springers, bull dogs etc. I think the next size up would have been better really (greyhound sized apparently), but I didn't dare look at the price. Still, it works for an occasional seat.

He does My Grumpy very well  Summer's gone....April and May is the new summer these days, although it did extend into June this year. Normal pattern is rain and more rain now (hope I'm wrong). All the bilberries are out on the moors...I'm sure it's much earlier than previous years. The seasons are slipping again.

You're right, he's happy paddling as long as the water doesn't go above his manly bits :- . Any higher and he's not happy. He wasn't prepared for an all over soaking that's for sure. I'll have to get him a rain coat. I'd better not do a return trip to PAH in Glossop (w00t) .
