Hello
Please can someone explain to me why some replies to a posting that has asked a perfectly reasonable question ends up being replied to in a nasty, spiteful way.
Surely if the question has been put on by a person that you don't like, then be the adult in this situation and ignore the person and the post.
I have to admit that there are people within whippet racing who I wouldn't give the time of day to ( but I wouldn't stoop to slagging them off ), there are also people to whom I would be polite and say a quick hello if I met them.
Then there are the people within our sport for whom I have a great deal of respect, and I would be proud to be called one of their friends.
Just remeber that none of us are perfect and we have all made mistakes, and no doubt we will make many more as we go through life.
A few weeks ago I put a posting on here in reply to some of the other postings on a particular subject, I said then that it didn't bode well for whippet racing if the back biting had started already and it is only January.
There is an old saying that what comes around goes around, so just remember that the nasty remarks might be about one of us next time, so it might be our turn.
As for me I just want to get on with racing our dog, win or lose it's a day out, no cooking or cleaning . That's the life
Good luck to you all in 2008 if you are racing a whippet
Doreen
