:( This topic is going to be about our presentation but want you all to know what a bad hour Ive just had. 1st of all at the presentation I got top no limit with Mickey Whizz didnt receive anything for it no trophy nothing :( neither did the top 40lber or the top veteran. :( All wrong I think and not just because Ive got a scratch dog. The scratch dogs always get forgotten about. :( I think I will print some certificates off or something. After that I came home to have my lunch (I had put a baked poato in before I went to presentation) guess what? it wasnt cooked properly it was hard half way through bloody horrible. :( Then to top it all off I just split a can of pepsi max all over the kitchen floor  the dogs had a great time trying to drink that. They say it comes in threes well I hope thats me done for the day then.

;) We started off with the top dogs in the rising sun handicap these were in

3rd place Madhouse (Mad Return x Dessie) belonging to Mitch

2nd place Damion (kalex x crazy cracker) (alias lexgo crazy) belonging to Jeff Hunter.

1st place went to Bud (TH cees x cracked it )

Onto the top three bitches these were in

3rd place Taragon (heatwave x spellbound) belonging to Donna and Gary

2nd place Nathans Kitkat (Midge x Candy Floss) belonging to Anthony and Christopher Makepeace

1st place went to Sheer Bliss (our jack x Marella) belonging to Joyce Thoburn

Well done to all of these dogs most of them run every week at the handicap. I do believe they all got a trophy.

Donna Weatherson took some photos with her digital camera (showing off again lol)

Im sure she will post some on here wont you Donna? :p

:ermm: OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOOK SO ROUGH ON A SUNDAY MORNING (no I wasnt out last night)

I THINK I WILL HAVE TO START GETTING DRESSED FOR THE DOGS FULL MAKE UP ETC LOL

Sorry you didnot get a trophy Carole but it was a majority vote last year i think to not give trophies to No Limit Vets and 40Ib As far as i know its because of the small entries that the opens got i quite agree though its not very nice not getting anthything when you turned up to race your dog its not your fault only a few dogs turned up.never mind youll just have to race at the Jodami open and win there is a lovely trophy which you keep for one year also a trophy to keep for good. Hope Donna puts the photos on it will be good to see my ugly mug in print.smile Carole Peter will be back shortly

Woody

I totally agree with you carole, we have won opens before and not received a trophy because someone had forgotten to bring it back  so we know exactly how you feel. :b .......I think all organisations when putting a race on should put on a trophy (or something) for the winner regardless of wether it is a no limit race or scratch.......bty good piccys :D

God did I say I hope Donna puts the photos on what a mess I am. Maybe it should of been revoted in at the meeting this morning that all winners should receive something even a certificate as you have surgested If you want Carole ill have a word with Jeff to ask Sharron & Erica to consider what youve said I think it all boiled down to the single runs and not many entries but i agree the winners should get something.Woody

:( JOYCE I HARPED ON AND ON ABOUT THIS TO JEFF BUT HE JUST LAUGHED. LIKE I SAY I WILL TRY AND DO SOMETHING MYSELF FOR THE SCRATCH DOGS AND VETERANS. AT ONE TIME THE TOP 5 DOGS AND BITCHES GOT TROPHIES. I KNOW WE CANNOT AFFORD ALL OF THESE NOW BUT I DEF THINK WE SHOULD GET SOMETHING. WAIT JOYCE TILL THE END OF THIS YEAR AND IF YOU GET TOP SCRATCH AND GET NOWT YOU WILL KNOW HOW I FEEL. (im not getting at you mind) I KNOW YOU ALWAYS PUT GREAT TROPHIES ON AT THE JODAMI AND DONT FORGET ABOUT ANYBODY .MAUREEN DOES THE SAME AT THE BARKING DOG OPEN. ;) LIKE I SAY IF ANYBODY HAS ANY IDEAS ABOUT CERTIFICATES PLEASE POST ON HERE IT WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

PAT IT IS NOT THE FACT NOBODY IS BRINGING TROPHIES BACK WE JUST DIDNT GET ONE SIMPLE AS THAT COULDNT AFFORD IT! MAYBE THAT IS AN IDEA JOYCE HOW ABOUT ALL THE WINNERS JUST KEEPING THEIR TROPHIES FOR A YEAR? NOT JUST THE SCRATCH AND VETS MIND! EVERYONE. WE WOULD HAVE TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE TOP CLASS TROPHIES THOUGH AND GET NAMES ENGRAVED ON LIKE IN OPENS ME THINKS THIS IS A GOOD IDEA. SORRY I NEVER THOUGHT TO BRING THIS UP IN THE MEETING TODAY. CAN WE HAVE ANOTHER ONE? HA HA

  JUST WONDERING WHAT OTHER CLUBS DO? WHO GETS THE TROPHIES FOR BEEN TOP IN YOUR REGION? DO YOU DO ANYTHING FOR SCRATCH RACERS? ID BE VERY INTERESTED IN THIS. WE HAVE ACTUALLY MANAGED TO GET A SCRATCH RACE GOING NOW ON A SUNDAY MORNING AT THE RISING SUN ONLY A POUND A DOG WINNER TAKES ALL. (i think the scratch racing was joyces idea) WE HAD A 3 DOG SCRATCH RACE BETWEEN DAZZLYN ANN, BUD AND THE CHALLENGER WAS GOING GREAT UNTIL THE RAG SLOWED DOWN JUST BEFORE THE LINE. THANKFULLY THERE WAS NO CASUALTIES THE RACE WAS GIVEN TO BUD AS HE WAS WINNING ANYWAY. I HOPE THESE SCRATCH RACES CONTINUE AND WE GET MORE AND MORE SCRATCH RACERS COMING ANYBODY WELCOME MIGHT PUT MINE IN IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS TIME.

 was only using that as an example carole of how it felt not to receive a trophy :b

 SORRY PAT 9im on my high horse about this subject can you tell ?(lol)

hmmmmmmm your dog is looking at that and thinking ""wonder if that is edible" :p good piccy donna, me thinks i shall have to have one :teehee:

Carole Ive printed off your comments and mine ill pass it on to Jeff to give to Erica It may shame them doing something I have never had a scratch dog before but i always commented that they never get anything but money thats why I put on trophies for No Limit 40Ib Vets Pups and top dog and bitch also a supreme. I also always pay out a 100% At the Jodami Open. can i point out the Big Fellows name is just Challenger not The Challenger got to get it right you know i might get well known like you ha ah see you soon WOODY
