Price Of Pups

If my memory serves me right I think the most we have ever paid for a pup is 100 pound and well worth the money too :teehee:  8)

maybe not a pup but the most i ever payed was to you neil (w00t) :p i think 150 is a reasonable price today  how u doin nutter :p

We paid £100 for Double Impact all those years back, I think £150 is a good price these days. You cant make a profit on a litter no matter how hard you try, unless of course you charge silly prices £200 and over. Ive never paid more than £100

I paid 450 for my tri-color cavalier king charles spaniel.

abput £450 for mickey whizz lol due to a c section on an out of hours sun morning. other than that £80. i think £100 is enuf to pay. :D

i payed £400 for rupert, i thought that was reasonable cos of his breeding

after reading the other posts im not so sure !

never mind, hes worth every penny

Yours is an average price for a pedigree pup Melanie, this is the non ped forum that's probably why there is such a difference

Blues Brothers were £225 each, the breeder at first wanted £400 but we agreed £800 for the pair was too much so a compromise was reached, chuffed with them, the breeder also gave me hunting permission along the banks of the river Wye, and surrounding area south of Hereford and for me to be able to hunt let alone walk the dogs on his property, is simply priceless, Otty the deerhound was £600, Oscar the deerhound X lurcher was £130

Have seen KC registered Whippies in Countrymans weekly from £200 up to £450 and non KC from as little as £75.

Even some older Whippies free to good homes !!

There is pressure on the breeder to sell, and like every thing else, if you want first choice of the litter you may have to pay top dollar, once the breeder has the last few left , they may reduce the price ?

Mike

To me the most important aspect is making sure the pups have gone to good homes, and covering the costs !! because in my bitch's case she had to have a section which cost £300. I think non ped people charge on average around £100 to £150 per pup but I have bought a pup for less !!

aaaah i see  never think to look what forum im in :- " :- "

i paid 500 for my dobermann stud 15 years ago.his sire was top stud an top ch and his dam was top winning bitch.his sister stayed in uk but everything else out of the litter went abroad, probably for more money too.i paid a lot more than that for my shibas years ago though

we checked out prices for pups months ago and were quoted £450 for a pedigree but £100-£150 non ped, however we paid a bit more for tank but i have to say we fell in love with him in his pics on k9 and then when we saw him we would have paid a pedigree price for him - probably upto £400-£450 as it makes no odds to us too pay more for a ped as we have no interest in showing-we wanted a pet/faithfull friend and a companion-what price for these things?-priceless in our book.

we paid for our greyhounds £350 and £450.

most i've payed for a pup is £150. and the most for a adult was £300 for mimo and she was worth every penny.

it"s a good home that is most important not the money, personally i would"nt pay more than £100,i got CHLOE for £50 thanks to anne & peter it is the best £50 i have ever spent

150 quid is my limit.so breeders think about it the pups are not pedigrees. ps start knocking the price down pleeze :)

We paid about £40 for one pup and either £60 or £80 for the other. :huggles:

Our litter sold at £150 a piece as we were told this was the going rate. I know other pups are sold at higher proces but we just couldn't sell then for any more than £150 ...

We paid £350 for our ped Whippet bitch as a one year old & £150 for our Jack Russell bitch puppy.
