everything is getting to serious now, so here is a light hearted topic for every whippet racer. we have a bitch pup which is due to start training we watch her running free and eezyin the fields obviously loving every stride she takes ,any tips on how to train her to the lure without taking the fun away from her.

:p phil whippets love chasing so u wont be taking the fun away from her. I always start without a muzzle and try and get pup mad keen for the rag before i venture onto the muzzle. That way it is fun for her to get the rag and also be able to shake it. ;)

Hi Phil

Nemo is lure mad :D . I play tug o war with him and let him just play with the lure at the track. He is now doing about 50yd slip's and love's it :D . Just let her play and have fun

i would say the same as sherry and try and get her to rag toys at home with u playing with her to keep it fun, most peeps know tig gets a golf head cover after most races to rag when he cant have the lure means they get something in the end :D

i was thinking just put plenty slippers up the track she would run all day long
