I have a 16 week old Cavapoo.

She is walking absolutely fine but when she brakes into a sprint her hind legs seem to buckle like she doesn’t know how to coordinate?

is this a normal puppy trait that will correct with age or strength or something more sinister?

Any help or guidance appreciated.

Could you get a video of it? It's possible some people here could offer an educated opinion, but it might be best to show it to your vet or a dog physio, who can examine the joints properly.

Some pups do take a while to get fully coordinated, or they may have loose joints that will fix themselves as they develop more muscle - but it could indicate an issue that would be better addressed sooner rather than later.

Thanks Judy I think a visit to the vets is on the cards tomorrow
