Hi-

Been 3 years since our last litter-forgot how much hard work pups are-

Ours are now 6 weeks and 3 weeks

6 weekers are on e.g......

Breakfast

weetabix-milk

lunch

meat/fish/veg/pasta

milk

tea

meat/veg/biscuit meal/wholemeal bread

supper

rice pudding

milk

Steve cooks up broths/stock pots/chicken/beef etc for our dogs-once/twice a week

The milk we have been using for pups since weaning began is-

Baby powder milk-and Lactol

We are now using Goats milk-

Pups are doing well and haven't turned their nose up at aything so far...

What does everyone else do?

What milk do you think is best? when its time to leave mum...etc...

Mine have had pretty much similar to what you've been feeding, i like to give them a variety, they've also had lots of raw meat and raw chicken wings / tripe, they go mad for it.

Ella's been on goats milk since i got her and now the pups too - they're all good strong healthy pups, all have been very good eaters and haven't disliked anything thats been put in front of them.

Cheers..not given goats milk to pups before.. only the adults have it occasionally-wasn't 100% sure about it...

Can you tell paranoia is setting in through lack of sleep???

Didn't understand the 1st 2 answers to this topic straight off-been for a nap -_-

Karen

P.S That Lactol works out quite expensive feeding a few...though it does smell nice and rich almost like butterscotch.....

Mine love Goats milk !!!!!!!!!!!!

We've had buttered spaghetti and red salmon tonight!

yum yum
