size when grown. is it 12 or 13 weeks old when you double it to find the weight of the dog

i must have got my dates mixed up?? :b i worked out gypsy was gonna be about 10kg but she is only 6 months and already 11kg...she is only skinny but solid! (w00t)

I got told it was 12 week's for a bitch, and 13 week's for a dog .........Worked for my lot .......
 
red will be 13lb when 12 weeks old on thursday

12 weeks worked right for sonny but a mate keeps on saying 13 weeks plus add a pound for a dog

Hi Elaine,

the 12 week guide works for dogs & bitch's (99% of the time) ~ weigh them at 12 weeks double it and you'll be withing a 1lb either way.
 
Looking back through my records the 12 weeks worked very well for all my girls. :thumbsup: That is when they are in their ideal condition, after her last litter our Bess was rather plump and so was more thandouble of her 12 weeks weight, but now almost year later she is back to normal. :)
