It is with great sadness that we have had to have mums old girl Twice As Nice put to sleep tonight at the grand old age of 17 years :( she was fine this morning but by tea time had lost the use of her legs.

Millie was a lovely dog both at home and on the track she will be greatly missed by us all rest in peace Millie Moo.

Here's a pic of when she won her veteran title at seaham.

:( Crying and laughing at the same time, you two were so proud of our first champ all be it a veteran champ, but I know how much you have both grown to hate that pic as you got older and would take it down whenever i decided to put it up somewhere .................. but todays different cos you did it for your mum :( xxxx

RIP my little girl will never forget you :( xxx
 
Haha yeah we were so proud of her I actually remember after she won me and Kim arguing who was gunna hold her lead and walk off the track with her .... I got the lead KIM carried Millie lol
 
wow wot a great age for a dog 17 years old! sorry u have lost her but glad u have those special memories. RIP little one xxx

Sorry to hear about your loss. She reached a grand age - there must be plenty of good memories over her 17 years. Thinking about you all as we know how you are feeling.

So sorry for your loss. 17 yrs is something to be proud of but it doesn't making saying goodbye any more easier. You've done the right thing for her Karen as I'm sure you did every day of her life.

So sorry to your sad news, I can remember Millie racing and when she won her title.

So blessed she lived to such a grand age.

They leave such a big gap when we have to say our last goodbye xxx

So sorry for your loss, its the hardest thing to say goodbye even in old age, but it is also the kindest thing to let them go with dignity and not suffer, remember the good times, thinking of you xxx Alison.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, just one bowl less at food time seemed like a big gap on the work top tonight and the silly little whine whilst food being prepared the times I shouted Millie for goodness sake (or words to that effect) missed that silly whine, what i'd give tonight to be telling the old girl off one more time :(
