IVE CHOSE THE ONES I LIKE OF THE MANY THAT PEOPLE HAVE SUGGESTED THERE MAY EVEN BE MORE. I AWAYS HAVE WHIZZ AS THE 2ND PART OF THE NAME. MINKS BREEDING IS JACK THE LAD X NIKKI WHIZZ. SO THERES COMBOS OF BOTH NAMES. SHE GOES BACK TO SPELLBOUND XPSELL ETC SO THERES MAGIC THEMED NAMES AND THERES JUST THE OTHER ONES THAT I LIKE. SO COME ON GET VOTING. :thumbsup:

well everyone seems to like gee whizz or shud it b g whizz another poll on how it shud b spelt eh?lol bear will b golden whizz, gold whizz or goldy whizz i think. then mink will b g whizz, gee whizz or???? :teehee:

although gee whizz seems to be the fave i think i may have to call her something to do with luck. she spent a night @ the vets AGAIN on sat. a few weeks baxck when we got their 1st jabs we werwe given some wormer which peter added to their food on sat dinner time. sat tea time mink started to shake and was nearly falling over so she was rushed to the emergency vets. he cudnt find anything wrong her temprature was fine he thought it cud b meningitits or something nerological (sp) said he cud give her an anti inflammatory injection and keep her in overnight and monitor her of course we agreed to this. then when we go home bear started shaking same way as mink. i said it had to be the wormer and it must be an allregic reaction. so peter rang the vets took bear up along with the wormer only to be told it was a wormer and a flea thing and that its meant to be put on their back!!!!!! the vet got in touch witjh the manufacturer who told him wot to do, the pups stayed in overnight and had their systems flushed out. we got them back @ 6pm sun tea time. mink was still a bit wobbly she mustve had more of the stuff than bear as @ the mo they just get fed together. anyway peter took them to our vets today they r both fine. the vet reckons he told peter wot to do with the wormer. i was there and i know it was the receptionist who gave us it and certainly didnt tell us and as there was no instructions we obviosuly presumed it was to go on their food as thats wot u normally do. anyway it wud b our word against the vets word. but the main thing is the pups r now both fine and home thank god so as u can c its going to have to be something to do with luck thats twice shes spent nights @ the vets now.

Jesus Christ Carol!! Is this the Advocate stuff? I was offered it for ours but when I was told you put it on their skin and it also wormed them, I didn't like the idea of what I felt was something pretty toxic being put on them. Think I'd have a cardiac at the thought of them eating it and all I can say is you've been very, very lucky!

I've had a horrible afterthought and I've got to ask. Did Ice also have it?

With regards to a complaint. You should go for it. The reason being is you've been given a prescription drug without instructions on it's use. Regardless of one persons word against another the fact is if you didn't receive instructions on it's use, both the vets and the drug company are in deep trouble.

The other matter is that whenever something goes wrong with a drug, even if it's been administered wrongly, it needs to be reported. I would go straight to the RCVS RCVS Complaints procedure

yes it was advocate but no ice didnt have any of it, 1st time we used it was sat. thanks 4 the advice we will look into it. cheerz

Thats my favourite Carole. Its nice having a mix of Mom and Dads name, she is here because of them after all !!!!

One of mine is called Fen,mom was Fay and dad Ned. Good luck what ever you choose. Mink is a smasher. xx
