IT WAS A WET COLD AND WINDY DAY AT THURROCK I CANNOT BELEIVE IT'S THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER.

WE HAD SEVERAL RACES FOR MEMBERS TODAY, BUT A HOST OF PUPPIES BEING TRAINED, SORRY THESE WERE ALL TO YOUNG TO COME UP TO OLD HALL TODAY.

BUT WE ARE ALL EAGERLY AWAITING THE RESULTS OF THE PUPPY AND YEARLY CHAMPIONSHIPS.

JOHNIE STAYTE HAS 4 PUPIES TO TRAIN, TALL JOHN A NEW MEMBER STARTED THIS LITTLE BITCH, BRED BY GARY FARMER, SHE LOOKED VERY IMPRESSIVE FOR A 7 MONTH OLD.

TOM AND BILL HAVE BEEN TRAINING THE PUPPIES TOM BRED OUT OF RUSTY FOX AND RED REIGN THESE LOOK PROMISING FOR YOUNGSTERS. ROBBIE AND TINA GAVE HIS PUP AND SPIN OUT OF THE TRAPS FOR THE FIRST TIME, WITH HIS BITCH PUP BRED FROM LIPS AND LEGS.

ALTHOUGH THERE WERE NOT MANY DOGS, DUE TO INJURIES SEASONS ECT, S A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL.

Popped over myself to see the Red Reign x Rusty Fox pups have a short trial, and was well impressed with them. Tom is delighted with the 2 bitches and Bill is with the dog 'Reggie'. Bill's dog looks like Christine Archer's 'Over the Moon', it has a lovely dark muzzle. None of the pups should go over 24lb, which will make them interesting to watch.

Like was said before, the weather was ropey, but the club appears to be as strong as ever, which would please Sheila, cos it was kinda weird knowing she wouldn't be there again. Thanks to her though racing will continue strongly down here.

I very much look forward to (as I have nought to race) seeing the pups progress and race over the coming months and years (hopefully). It'll keep me in the sport...
