aww iv just seen that bitches cant be no taller than 20inches that leaves tia out then as shes grown since last time i mesuired her shes now 21inches to the shoulder dam and blast it was looking forward to racing her :(

21" is the max limit regardless of sex

There are sex specifics in the breed standard which is only advisory and usually more in regard to Showing (where it is totally ignored anyway :- " )

joyce keable, who deals with all passports has told me that the limit is 20inches for a bitch and 21 for a dog, we spoke about this just the other day

If she does not exceed 21 inches in height and 32 lbs in weight then yes  (I think)

you would probaly be able to run her at club meetings, but would be unable to get a passport to race at opens

i know im right on the height thing, joyce keable told me the height limits and she is the person that puts together every single passport so i would think she knows what shes talking about

The height used to be 21 inches for dogs and bitches but it changed a few years ago 20 inches for a bitch and 21 inches for a dog. Peppermint lady is right the best person to seek advise from is Joyce Keable :)

Get her measured under a proper measuring stick, it is very difficult to be accurate with a normal tape and an eye ;) Judy has one in her van so if you come up to Glos open, we can see what she really is

Jo

Julie & Claire are right - Its definitely 21" for a dog and 20" for bitches.

Jo is right about getting her measured properly Nicky but I don't always have a measuring stick in the van. Its a bit awkward to carry around so sometimes, usually if we are staying away overnight, I leave it at home unless someone's asked me to second their dog for a passport, so PM first if you are coming and I'll make sure I bring it.

Apologies Nicky - I hadn't realised it had changed.
