Hello, we have Pepper, a singular pet 18-month old whippet.  We would love to take him (purely as a spectator) to a race-meet as we think he would enjoy the excitement.  Can anyone advise us of dates and venues in Suffolk (we live in Ipswich) - or if not, perhaps a local contact that we could get in touch with?

I think your closest track would be at Newmarket.

They have club racing most Sundays and Opens are booked for 28 April (Straight) and 30 June (bend). I'm sure you would be made very welcome - most of the pedigree racers on these pages will be at the Opens.

The address is Fordham Road, Newmarket and it's on the council owned playing field near Tesco's.
