I thought if ever someone could help me get a muzzle it would be here. I have a little girl who by Australian standards is very small. The smallest racing muzzle over here is still too big for her. I was given an English one by a lady but I'm wondering if there are different styles as the one I have doesn't allow her to open her mouth very wide. The Australian ones are the same style as our greyhound ones & they can get their mouths open REALLY wide. If you see a photo of them running in one they use all the space. Can anyone suggest where I might look to find styles of muzzles? Thanks in advance Linda

We can what we call australian muzzles here - the bottom half is a plastic mesh basket and its held on by a leather strap going over the nose.

The other kind, called an english muzzle, is a wire type, often plastic coated which has a wire bit that goes up over the centre of the head, between the eyes. Try this link Jans Greyhound and Lurcher Gifts They are also sold in whippet sizes.
