Hi Wendy,

you need to ask your club secretary for a passport form and they will explain to you what to fill in and how many pics you need and which angles they need to be taken from.

:luck: and hope to see you out on the circuit one day.

Hi Wendy, speak to Maggie on Sunday and she will get the forms for you

Hi

Will do

I was just wondering what the procedure was. Graham did tell me but it was all new to me so I didnt take it all in. :- "

Maggie asked what her racing name was going to be and we had no idea. What do most people choose. The one on her pedigree or something totally different?

Thanks

Wendy

Hi Wendy

A quick version.

Get form from Club Secretary.

take it home and fill in dogs KC, Parents names ect but leave the hight, weight, toe/nail colouyrs blank.

get the breeders signature on the bottom of page 1.

get club Secretarys signature at bottom of page 1.

take 2 pictures from each side that are identicle (ie: front. rear, each side)

arrange for a seconder to process the passport (your club sec will help with that)

hope that helps.

Hi

Thanks

Do I have to get the breeders signiture? I have her KC papers and she is transfered into my name. I really do not want to get in touch with her breeder again for various reasons

Wendy

yep you need the breeders signature, they need to give permission for it to have a passsport? that bits a bit out dated IMO.

How annoying

Why does the breeder have to give their permission. Not wanting to be a pain but just asking out of interest.

Sorry cant answer that one other than it's to give their consent, like I said IMo it's a bit out dated.

What happens if you are not able to get in touch with the breeder for some reason. For example they have moved??

Wendy

you would need to contact the WCRA Passport registrar and ask them if it would be possible to get the passport without the signature as obviously if all attempts have been made to get a signature but its not been possible then they would look at the case and make a decission.

I do not see it so much as getting the breeder's permission but more as the breeder's confirmation of the dog's identity and breeding.

Hi, But did she not do that when she registered it with the KC and then passed on the papers to me to register it into my name ?

I wouldnt be suprised if the breeder even remembers me or this bitch. :(
