(w00t) Aww ther gorguse all of them but i think libby is my fav

A gorgeous gaggle of pups

Isn't 7 weeks far too young for their first innoculations? they still have immunity form their mother at that age

Totally agree with you Jo....far too young!

And what lovely pups they are Chilibang  . My understanding is that the first jab can be given from six weeks of age so you're well in. Good luck.

Gill, they are beautiful - is your Mum in the madhouse yet?!!!!!!!

Tessie for me

Who is having the pups so far, anyone we know?

They are gorgeous Gill  ................Tessie   which are you keeping :)

Hi all,

I have decided on speaking to a friend who is very knowledgable to hold the first jabs until they are at least ten weeks old, hopefully I'll be able to work out in that time how to take 6 wriggly pups to the vets without them escaping and wrecking the joint :- "

Yes June my mum is now at the get them all sold stage as quite a lot of her wallpaper has disappeared and they keep trying to dig up the carpet up  . On the puppies Rafa is staying with my mum and his dad,Stephanie is Katie's pup,Tessie is mine  and max has been sold I'm sworn to secrecy until he goes to his new home-but he will be staying local!!!Tilly has someone but they keep mucking me about and Libby is still waiting :( . I'm hoping that Tessie will make racing weight as she has only just hit 4lbs at 7 weeks, how heavy was yours at that age June.?

Gill.

I can see why you're keeping Tessie, she's lovely and Stephanie is a gorgeous colour too

You'll have to spill the beans about Max later ;)

BTW - some of the new vaccines can be given as early as 6 weeks now but I think you have to wait till 10 weeks for the 2nd lot. Guide Dogs for the Blind give them at 6 weeks as they think its important to start socialising them early.

Hi Gill

Mouse and Perdi were 4lb 8oz at 7 weeks - but don't worry, if Tessie doesn't make the weight - you can send her down to me :D

Hello everyone my name's jamie and me and my girlfriend hayley are the new and very proud owners of max. We've decided to change his name to Trigger.

Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Gill and Joyce for the fantastic start they have given him and for keeping it under wraps (he was a xmas suprise for Hayley, she was absolutely made up).

He's settled in to his new home no problem and it alredy feels like he's been there forever. He is still getting used to been on his own and spends most of the night crying (any tips welcome!)

We can't wait til he's had the rest of his jabs and we can start taking him for walks and bring him down to the club.

Jamie & Hayley

Hi Jamie, Trigger is gorgeous  We wish you all the :luck: :luck: with him.

As for him crying, :( why don't you put him in bed with you (w00t)

Do you have a crate? If you do put it in the bedroom, let him be near you.

After all he has had company, for the last twelve weeks.

Once he is a little older & more settled, I'm sure he will go back to sleeping downstairs.

We look forward to seeing you at the club

We always have ours in the bed with us for the first week and then they go downstairs with the others but if he is your only dog then maybe you should just progress from there to a crate or dog bed in your bedroom. It must be really scary for a puppy to go from sleeping with his litter mates, straight to being totally on his own at night.

Best of luck with him and have many happy hours of fun.
