who else raw feeds. benefits you saw making the change ?

There are various reasons why that could happen if the supply chain is not good or of your protocols are not super strict . Plus of course there may be dogs who cant tolerate it. My dog cant have beef.
But I know after nearly a year of loose stools , failure to flourish and ongoing skin problems raw feeding was the answer to all my dogs problems. I prefer to give my dogs food I can identify rather that a bunch of dry stuff I cant.

Vets have limited knowledge on diets for dogs and many have an incentive to sell dried food in which they earn money from...
We have been raw feeding for 30 years now and have never had a problem with our dogs or ourselves and we are vegetarian...
I used to make my own mixes from human grade meat but now buy natures menu free flow minces and chicken hearts etc ...it's much easier now to buy ready mixes to ensure your dog gets a balanced diet ....I would never feed a complete kibble diet again but that is my personal choice

What a load of rubbish.
Then why are there so many healthy living wild carnivores felines and canines existing?
It may help her to do some sensible and healthy research into how canine have animals evolved and to understand their teeth structure and digestive systems too. !!

I've been raw feeding our lot for around 15 years & don't think I'd ever go back to kibble or wet food.

That being said, one of my old sheps didn't get on with it so we put her back on kibble, so it does depend on the individual dog & I'm far from evangelical about anyone else's choice of feeding.

Our vets were very much against it when I first mentioned it, but they have come round to it & are now supportive, as they've seen we're making sure they get a balanced, good quality raw & we get a lot of positive comments about their skin, coats & teeth.

My vet is anti-raw. It's always been a contention between us, in spite of the fact she can see how they thrive on it.
