just like to let people know blidworth room was broke into on wednsday evening and the red trap was stolen was between 6 and 8 which seems strange as this was when all knew we was going to poolsbrock cant beleave the low lifes if the person responsable needed a trap id gladly have loaned one of mine from home.

Its a sad state of affairs when the people we race alongside feel the need to do this kind of thing - clubs are here to help people train their dogs and as Chris said if someone desperately needs a trap for a bit of extra training usually someone would loan them one if they have a spare, i can only imagine it to be a whippet racer as what good would one trap be to anyone else and the fact that the club was closed on Weds, how convenient !!!!! :rant:

And it was a Manton trap, yes it took a while Chris for the penny to drop (w00t)

Sad gits we had our container broke into last year on the eve of our first open took two sets of scales nothing else. We have spent a fortune on locks. We have a spare trap if you need one Chris. Les.

You should get Steve Bateson to pop round with the welding torch and thief proof it like he did at Lancaster its even a struggle to get in with the keys--thats in our old container on Quay Meadow track---

Cannot believe that someone would want a trap that bad, but being as they left the rest then they must have done, other wise the whole lot would have gone to be weighed in, seems nothing is safe from the bar stewards.
