Re Bwra

come on secret meeting lol if its that important meeting that members should attend .why cant members be told whats its about :teehee: so why closed topic?

It's been deemed an extraordinary meeting Chris. The rule for members to call an EGM is detailed on the BWRA website in it's rules section and your quite right, if a member wishes to call an EGM they require 50 signatures.

However it appears it is the committee requesting an EGM and as such, the rule does not apply.

 First I've heard of this! So, if it's going ahead, whenis it? 'Cos, as I understand the rules, as applied by Company House, There needs to be a "clear" 28 days' notice of any such meeting! I can only assume that it something of sufficient importance to cause the ruling committee to resort to such measures.

Its on the BWRA website and on BWRA section of k9 with a link on non ped section.

Meeting is to be held at 11 am Sunday 22 January 2012 @ Notts & Derby Miners Welfare.

Urgent News.

Important Notice National B.W.R.A EGM.

This meeting is being called with regards to the 2011 memberships & registrations.

This subject affects all members and as such it is important that as many members as possible attend.

This notice is displayed on behalf of the committee.

Hope no one objects to it being displayed on this section aswell if it is a problem I'm sure someone will remove it, my only reason for posting here is that although many have use of k9 not everyone is 'good' at finding there way round it and may miss or not understand links etc. i know several people who only know how to log on to the non ped section for results and information and possibly would not look elsewhere.

It would be nice to know what happen to have meeting called like this and save people fortunes in fuel to go to this meeting from all around country speacial as weekends are valuable when you work all week I for one want be going unless I know reason

Lyndon, if you look at Trojans post just before your own reply, it does explain what the meeting is regarding.

Yes I can see that jac but still think it very vague I think people not going to spend all that money on fuel three weeks after Xmas just for meeting that come out of blue but best luck with it hope it goes well

Is it about registrations for 2011 as stated or for the coming year 2012. ??

hope meeting goes well for the few that do attend, seems pointless talking about last years memberships 2 weeks after the agm.

 Speakimg as Regional Sec. for the East Midlands, I can tell you honestly, that none of "our" committee were informed of this decision and have only found out, like yourself, via K9! I have to admit, I share your concerns! Dee
