Hi all, no judgment please, but I’m having real problems with my 3 yr old choc lab after an incident whilst we were away on holiday and my brothers gf was walking her.
She got spooked by a kid on a scooter zooming round a corner, she barked at him and he reacted by shouting at my bro’s gf, which unfortunately resulted in her nipping him on the bum. We were obviously mortified by her behaviour.

She’s now become really reactive to certain things, kids on scooters or bikes, or anyone walking behind us dressed in dark clothing.

She’s shown aggression whilst on lead to some people, so she’s now wearing a muzzle permanently whilst out.

We hired a behaviourist but she was useless and cost a fortune, and we can’t really afford to hire anyone else. We’re working on trying to distract her when she gets anxious, making her sit and focus on us, but sometimes she gets so worked up it’s really difficult. Any suggestions on how to manage her or any help would be greatly appreciated.
