Hi All

Having just got home after rushing around all day.

The day started fairly early this morning have to collect stock for prizes.

I went to our new venue for the weigh in and was surprised and i wonder why we had not used this pub before.We got a great welcome from the land lord Ian and chatted to his father who could remember whippet racing in Portrack many years before when he was a lad.

The committee of Stockton on Tees WRC worked hard to have the track ready and once again the running surface was cut to perfection. not to short as this track hardens quickly when the sun shines.

A great turn out with racers arriving from all over the country total 68 dogs

With some real class in the field Short spot winning the day a great days racing no problems and all the boys and girls being in great form with each other.
