At the 2 bend meetings at Westhoughton in the scratch racing, the dogs in the red jacket were in the outside trap. Shouldn't it have been on the inside?

At N.G.R.C. and all tracks with outsde hares, the 1 box is next to the inside rail and the 6 box is one the outside, therfore the scratch dog in handicaps wears the 6 jacket and the front dog the 1 jacket because it is next to the inside rail. hope this makes things as clear as mud. John its just that us scratch racers are use to the red being on the inside ie Askern, Highgate, Warwick,Easington,Kinsley,Stainforth. There's no need to move the formation of the traps.john m said:It’s a matter of convenience Geoff, being as it is an outside hare and all of the handicap races will have the red box on the outside and the other boxes placed as per handicap, there seems little point in swapping and lugging all the traps around for the scratch racing and if you ask for an outside box then you should have been in red or as near as poss, same pro rata for a rails draw in orange.
Don't pick on me Geoff it's not very becomingPS Fleesh if you want to take the **** go and get a job in Urology at Doncaster Royal Hospital LOL
