We spent a very pleasant day at Crufts and met quite a number of K9ers. Just a thought on the future of the breed in its country of origin. Does the success of U.S. bloodlines in both dogs and bitches ( both cc winners) mean that we can expect more U.S. imports into Britain and, if so, will this have an effect on "type"?

A further question concerns "type" within Britain. One highly respected K9er mentioned the "northern type" and "southern type " whippet. Could someone please explain the difference between the two? I shall try to include a photo of our Isidra at 10 months.( 47 cms or 18.5 inches and lbs. 22.00 or 10 klgs.) I have managed to reduce the original photo from 2.32 MB to 1.19 MB. Not too sure how I did it. Jax,please note that I am trying to smile. Enjoy your Easter breaks. Stephen
