What is this??

Just found this site.

I am totally amazed at what some people will do to make money!!

£25 to register an adult dog and £8 for each puppy, my question is what for????

This has got to be a rip off surely encouraging people to breed dogs whose pedigree is suspect or cannot be registered with the Kc for some reason to get more money for puppies they breed because they can say they are registered BUT Registered with what???

I have seen this before in scotadds. Seems like a total rip off to me   . I think it should point out that in order to take part in showing and some other things K.C reg is still needed.

  this is exactly the sort of thing that helps puppy farmers dupe naive people   oh yes, these pups are registered... that'll be an extra £200 or whatever. leaving 'clients' thinking, oh, registered, must be well bred and healthy. after all, i paid top price

sorry, this just sickens me. anything that can lead to the degredation and suffering of animals makes me see red. i'm sure plenty of genuine dog lovers will/are using this, but regardless of walk of life, there are truly evil people out there, waiting to take advantage.

ultimately, a pedigree isn't that important, the wellbeing of the pet concerned is. as many people on k9 can testify, a happy, healthy, well adjusted dog is a joy for everyone. a sick, deformed, malnourished puppy is heartbreaking, especially for the puppy who cannot understand whats wrong with him.

       What an awful scam

Some people will sink to anything.

I have sent them the following message -

Lets see what they reply :- "

This outfit have been running a few years and have advertised in both dog papers. Our local puppy farm outlet (they sell anything they can get their hands on and sell to anyone with the money) having been selling dogs that are "registered" with this lot for ages. The local puppy farm outlet (daren't name them in case this thread vanishes) are well known to dog training clubs and the all the local vets. They sell very sick puppies (If you ring and complain, they just tell you to take it back and you can have another.) puppies with terrible temperaments and puppies that grow up to be nothing like they are supposed to be, sometimes you are hard pushed to even see any known breed in them. Of course, by the time the owners realise this, they are far too attatched to the dog to take it back. The local rescues have been dealing with their problems for years, but they operate within the law, helped of course by offering "registered" puppies.

I just wish there was somthing that could be done. Succesive Governments haven't helped - offering grants to the struggling farmers to diversify into puppy farming. I'd like to shoot the lot of them!!

Just got this back from them.....

Hello

You cannot register your dog without a copy of the pedigree papers. You can show your dog in exemption/comapnion shows but not a kc run show.

Kind regards

   silly woman just proved how pointless it actually is. shame most potential 'suckers' wont see this, thus the puppy farm wheels continue to turn

You can show your dogs in Exemption and companion shows without any papers at all !!!!!

Well Ive just sent a really nice email :- " ;) saying what a nice kind lot of people they are ( not)

Actually what I said was `what rip off` merchants they were  and how gullable some folk must be

I wonder if i will get a reply ?

I see they dont have a` Guest `book

What a nice little earner that is  . We ought to start a K9 registration service for ONLY £10..00 per dog , that what put a fly in their ointment wouldnt it ;)

Say what you think :teehee: I havnt had a reply yet :- "
